In the penultimate episode, of the first season, of the series Invasion Apple TV+'s S1E9, one of the Japanese protagonists makes one of the most beautiful declarations of love to her beloved I've seen in a long time.

You are like space.
From the outside you seem distant, cold, empty.
Unattainable.
But for me that's not a problem.
I am an astronaut.
I'm not afraid of space. I understand it. It's full of stars.
You warm my skin when you come near, like the sun.
You are not cold at all.
Ardes. Ardes.
I have always liked space.
There is always something to discover.
Like the stars.
