Panasonic is promoting a new item for the home that will go on sale in September. It's a typical office cubicle, but for your home, and it will promotes this on its Web site:
Easy to assemble by the user.
You can create a semi-private space of approximately one square meter.
We launched "KOMORU", an easy-to-assemble desk designed to fit in your living room.

コモルKomoru in romajiis how Panasonic has baptized its latest non-technological bet to take work home. The Japanese company is taking advantage of the boom in remote work, generated by the coronavirus pandemic, to launch an office cubicle, like another piece of furniture in your home.
The Panasonic Komoru desktop will provide you with a semi-private one square meterwith walls on two sides. The 88,000 yen (700 €) cubicle will be available on September 18 in Japan, with no news on whether it will leave the country for international markets.

To promote the home cubicle, Panasonic claims that 70% of those it has surveyed have said that would like to continue working from home, even after the pandemic has endedand 50% said they have already set up their office in their living room.
The Komoru cubicle consists of a desk with two 120 cm high perforated vertical tabletops that serve as a partition, and Panasonic says that by installing the desk in a corner of your living room "you will create a space to work in a concentrated way.". As a bonus, it is Japan, remember, you can also use the perforated board to decorate and customize your cubicle the way you want (we strongly advise kawaii).
